“The First Single” by The Format

19 Jul

“The First Single” by The Format.  I think this song comes from one of the greatest albums that ever existed in the world.  “Interventions and Lullabies”.  So give that whole album a listen.

Once again this song is pretty up-beat.  You have to clap your hands…But it’s a bit darker than it sounds.  The words are great. Everything is great.

What to look for?  “So let’s cause…a…scene… *clap, clap, clap* Clap your hands and stop your feet or something…yeah something.”  I never miss the clapping part.  You shouldn’t either.

Setting?  One of the last get togethers you’re having with some good friends…

From what I can understand you like music that has an upbeat feel to it but has a deeper darker meaning meaning hidden within.

Sometimes… I’d like to think my tastes in music are harder to pin down then that. I’ve only got a few songs on here so far. Don’t be so quick to judge!

Yay The Format! One of my favorite songs! You can’t not clap to this. Definitely a great album too!

Yeah, if you’re in my car…you get arrested for not clapping at the appropriate times.
